What? Disney again?

Well actually it's been a few weeks since we've been. Well, we made up for it today for sure. We had low expectations for the day, just wanting to have a good time. We set out to do the Safari ride, see the Winnie the Pooh characters and hit the animal trails since it was Spring Break for Orange county and we knew it would be crowded. We headed to the Fass Pass line for the safari first thing and our time was 3:45-4:45!!! Usually it's around 12:30!! So we went to see the Winnie the Pooh Characters, then rode the Dinosaur ride in Dinoland, had lunch, saw Lilo & Stich, went back to the entrance to see Timon, Balooo, Pocohontas, Governor Ratcliff, Pluto and Rafiki (my friend got to do Chip and Dale but we missed them). Then we took the train over to Rafiki's Island and met Jiminy Cricket from Pinocchio, did another picture with Rafiki and looked at all of the animals behind the glass walls. We did find out something very interesting....they actually do surgeries to the animals in this room that was enclosed in glass and facing US! They say they suggest you have a strong stomach to stay and watch though. They don't have certain times but most happen first thing in the morning.
We caught the train back to Africa and found our spot for the parade and sat down for 45 minutes to relax. Right after the parade, we headed to the safari ride which was the best one I've been on so far. This guy drove like a maniac but it was fun. We saw two big cattle fighting which was neat. Then before we left we thought we'd see if the lines for the last characters were long and they were not! So we got to see Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Donald! That was a total of 17 different characters and 18 if you count Rafiki twice! And we did 2 rides and the parade. This was a GREAT Disney day and thank you Kim for making it happen. You know the ins and outs there!
