What a blast! I think that was the best party I've thrown yet. At least I know I had the most fun. : ) The theme was Pirates and the goal was to look like pirates, play pirate games and find the blasted treasure. We had a dress up station where we donned our bandanas, sashes, tattoos, eye patches, beads and hook hands. Then off to decorate our treasure chests, dig for gold and walk the plank (by far, the alligators and snakes in the pool were the hit of the party). After eating we did our treasure hunt. First we all gathered together for the rules and then the first clue. As we found each new clue, we got closer and closer to the treasure until at last it was found in the playhouse where it was quickly knocked over and pillaged! Each kid got to fill up his treasure chest with the loot. Afterwards we had cake and opened presents. My baby's THREE!
