I sent away for this free lemonade stand...the only catch was that Nicholas had to donate $ to charity from his first lemonade stand. So we talked to the YMCA about sitting outside on a Saturday and the director told me that they were having an Open House a few weeks out and that would be a perfect place to have him. they were giving out free hotdogs and water but $.50 for a lemonade would be great. So he and I set all up and sold lemonade from 10:00-12:30. He made $35 total between tips and payments. We actually gave the Y $50 so a kid could go to camp or do sports, but Nick was allowed to keep half of his profits. He's saving up for a new lamp for Mommy because he knocked it off of the table when climbing on the arm of the sofa. : ) Since John was out of town, I asked his aunt Beth to watch Spencer for me so Nick and I could focus on the task. It worked out well, and she brought Spencer and Jimmy up to the Y for some fun once we found out there was a bouncy house, games, drums, etc.
